Linux : la Fedora 11 sera mieux optimisée

L'ensemble de la Fedora 11 32 bits sera également optimisé pour les processeurs i586 (c'est-à-dire les Pentium ou supérieur).

La Fedora 11 adopte aussi le compilateur GCC 4.4 et le système de fichiers ext4.

Les développeurs espèrent ainsi que l'utilisateur pourra accéder à l'écran de connexion seulement vingt secondes après le démarrage de la machine.

Pour ces trois derniers logiciels, les gains attendus en terme de vitesse de traitement sont très prometteurs.
